About the Event
The purpose of practicing mindfulness is to be able to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. Not overly reactive to what’s going on around us. And when we can start living like this, in a moment by moment awareness, we are able to face the ups and downs, the storms of our lives with ease because we are coming from a place of deep calmness.
During this class we will learn about the basics of mindfulness. What it is and what is isn't. We'll practice one of the core meditations of the acclaimed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program called the "Awareness of Breath" meditation. You'll leave with a good understanding of what mindfulness is and a meditation for your Mindful Toolbox.
You'll also enjoy a beautiful crystal bowl sound bath where you'll leave with a renewed body, mind and spirit.
