The purpose of practicing mindfulness is to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, without judgment. When we can start living like this-in a moment by moment awareness-we are able to face the storms of our lives with ease because we are coming from a place of deep calmness.

About the event
The definition of mindfulness is this: Paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, to the present moment, non judgmentally. That's it! Be here now. Simple right? But simple isn't always easy.
While the surface of your mind can be choppy and agitated at times, like the surface of the ocean, you can learn to accept the mind's being that way and experience at the same time an underlying inner peace in a domain that is always right here, right now. This is the way of mindful meditations.
This class is for both beginners and experienced meditators. We'll practice simple ways to incorporate mindfulness into your day, both formal and informal. You'll leave with three tools you can use daily for your mindful toolbox and we will end the class with a beautiful crystal bowl sound bath.
